The pursuit of HAPPYNESS

The Pursuit of Happyness



“Happiness” is a noun that you need to change ‘y’ to ‘I’ then adding –ness at the end. As you remember if you spell it wrong when doing dictation. Even Christ Gardner, leading actor of movie, the pursuit of HAPPYNESS. He know how to spell it. Never the less he did not know how it feel like. Say it correctly, his life is far far away from happiness; no money, his wife dump him, cannot pay the rent and the point he is very unhappy with his life.

At one point of his life he wonder why the Declaration of Independence of the United States that written on 4 July 1776 by Thomas Jefferson has saying that.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with inherent and inalienable Rights; that among these, are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness;”


Even the Declaration of Independence of the United States is involve with politic also saying about searching for Happiness!!! Person that I describe above he is a millionaire that in the past he struggled with homeless while raising his son. He chasing to find pursuit of happiness. You can find his biography in the book or even movie.

I really like this movie, how special is it? I like it because it present how life will be. Movie is not like other common movie that leading actor trying hard on the first part then it getting better in the middle part and have a happy ending. Some of you might not like it because it too stress or too pressure. Christ Gardner, try so hard to get money to raise his son. In some day he do not have a place to sleep then he sleep in subway’s toilet. The movie has a happy ending at the end but only few minutes!!! That is what I trying to say, the movie using almost 1-2 hours to telling how he chasing happy and he get one at the end.
