Inventories can be managed, but people must be led.
Ross Perot

Last time, I just recommended book for “100 Ways to Motivate Others” but I think I did not explain good enough for the value inside this book.

Because this book wrote in 100 topics and each topic has several pages that means you can pick up to read again in every day by random topics for re-cap. Because it did not require to read in sequence. In each topic, it has special story. And the key point that Steve Chandler and Scott Richardson try to explain is

“You can't manage the team. You can't control of their people directly. This book teaches us how to motivate the team. Motivate up. This is the key.”

I think this concept similar to time management. Because you cannot manage the time. You cannot control the time because everyone in this world have 24 hours as equal. But you can manage your tasks to make them effective as much as you can. Today, I will share you more for the second topic in this book.

2. Teach Self-Discipline
Many of us still believe, we have self-discipline that is not right. Actually, we have to say. We use self-discipline. Because self-discipline is not related with genetic or gift!

It is the same thing that you use other language. You need to use new language as much as you can to make sure that you remember the new words, the new language structure, etc. So you have to use self-discipline everyday then you will become the person with self-discipline
